Westpac hybrid security suspended ahead of redemption

The Westpac Capital Notes 5 (ASX Code: WBCPH) issued by Westpac Banking Corporation have been suspended from quotation immediately, in accordance with Listing Rule 17.2. This suspension is in anticipation of the notes' redemption.

The complete removal of these Westpac Capital Notes 5 from quotation, under Listing Rule 17.10, will follow the official announcement of their redemption and the submission of an Appendix 3H – Notification of Cessation of Securities by WBC. The security class code for these notes is WBCPH.

This suspension and upcoming removal specifically applies to the Westpac Capital Notes 5 and does not impact any other quoted securities of Westpac Banking Corporation. The announcement was issued by ASX Compliance on 10 September 2025.
