Brickworks to exit S&P/ASX 200 index, Catalyst Metals to replace it

S&P Dow Jones Indices announced on September 9, 2025, that Brickworks Limited (XASX: BKW) will be removed from the S&P/ASX 200 Index. This removal is contingent upon a scheme meeting and final court approval, stemming from the company's acquisition by Washington H Soul Pattinson & Company Limited (XASX: SOL).

The removal of Brickworks Limited will take effect prior to the open of trading on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Concurrently, Catalyst Metals Limited (XASX: CYL) will replace Brickworks Limited in the S&P/ASX 200 Index, also effective prior to the open of trading on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
