Brambles responds to ASX inquiry, confirms FY25 results in line

Brambles Limited responded to an ASX inquiry concerning its full-year 2025 results, asserting its earnings did not materially differ from market expectations. The company confirmed its FY25 sales revenue growth of 3% was 1% below the bottom end of its revised guidance of 4-5% (constant currency) but deemed this not materially different. ULP growth of 10% fell within the 8-11% guidance, and Free Cash Flow before dividends of US$1094.9m exceeded the US$900-1,000m guidance by 9.5%. Brambles stated it only became aware of the finalised results, and any potential variance, during Board discussions on August 20, 2025, just before the market release on August 21, 2025.

The company further clarified that market consensus for sales revenue growth was 4%, ULP growth 9%, and Free Cash Flow before dividends US$910m, with its reported figures aligning closely or exceeding these. Brambles considers its own published guidance as the primary driver of market expectations. Following its FY25 results release, Brambles also announced strong FY26 guidance, including sales revenue growth of 3-5% and an increased 2025 final dividend, alongside a US$400m share buy-back in FY26, suggesting these factors likely influenced post-announcement trading.

Separately, Brambles announced on September 2, 2025, the quotation of 15,182 ordinary fully paid shares issued under its employee incentive scheme, specifically from the exercise of vested share awards under the Performance Share Plan. The estimated value of consideration provided per security is A$26.050100. This brings the total quoted shares to 1,367,115,848, with 8,907,224 unquoted share rights remaining.
