ANTAM's half-year profit soars 240% on strong sales growth

ANTAM's net sales jumped 155% to Rp59.02 trillion in the first half of 2025, up from Rp23.19 trillion in 1H24. Domestic sales contributed Rp57.11 trillion, representing 97% of total net sales and reflecting a strategic focus on the domestic market for gold, nickel ore, and bauxite ore products. Gold sales surged by 163% to Rp49.54 trillion, accounting for 84% of total sales, while the nickel segment contributed Rp7.87 trillion, a 125% increase. The bauxite and alumina segment also saw a substantial 102% rise to Rp1.46 trillion.

This strong top-line growth translated into a remarkable 240% increase in net profit for the period, reaching Rp5.14 trillion, compared to Rp1.51 trillion in 1H24. Gross profit jumped 311% to Rp8.24 trillion, and operating profit soared by 1,053% to Rp6.14 trillion. Basic earnings per share also saw a significant increase of 203%, rising to Rp195.43 from Rp64.52 in the prior period.

The company's financial position also strengthened, with assets increasing by 23% to Rp48.38 trillion and equity growing 14% to Rp33.71 trillion. Net cash flow from operating activities rose by 277% to Rp2.29 trillion, boosting cash and cash equivalents by 20% to Rp10.51 trillion.
