Phoenix Shipping to hold EGM for auditor change in January

Chang Jiang Shipping Group Phoenix announced on December 24, 2025, that its board of directors approved a proposal to change its auditor. The board agreed to appoint Da Xin Certified Public Accountants (Special General Partnership) as the company's financial and internal control auditor for 2025, a one-year engagement. This decision will be submitted for approval at the company's 2026 first extraordinary general meeting.

The proposed change stems from the company's business development and future audit needs, building on a previous announcement on November 5, 2025, regarding the re-engagement of its former auditor. Da Xin, established in 1985 and headquartered in Beijing, has extensive experience, providing services to over 10,000 companies and auditing 221 listed firms in 2024. The audit fee for 2025 is set at 650,000 yuan (excluding tax), a 20,000 yuan increase from 2024.

The 2026 first extraordinary general meeting is scheduled for January 9, 2026, from 14:30. Shareholders can participate in person or through online voting via the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Internet voting systems. The company will disclose the voting results, particularly for small and medium-sized investors, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
