Guangdong No.2 Hydropower names new vice chairman, committee member

On December 24, 2025, Guangdong No.2 Hydropower Engineering held its 33rd meeting of the eighth board of directors, where Dan Nianyang was elected vice chairman, effective immediately until the end of the current term. Dan Nianyang also joins the remuneration and assessment committee, which will now comprise Dan Nianyang, independent director Luo Yuanqing (convener), and independent director Liang Tongying. All resolutions were passed unanimously by the attending directors.

This appointment follows the company's second extraordinary general meeting on December 24, 2025, where shareholders approved Dan Nianyang's election as a non-independent director with 2,660,900,894 shares in favor, 1,737,400 against, and 137,500 abstentions. The meeting also approved the re-appointment of the accounting firm. Dan Nianyang, born in August 1972, brings extensive experience in investment banking and corporate management, having held various leadership positions within Guangdong’s state-owned enterprises.
