Levima advanced materials commissions new VC production facility

Levima Advanced Materials Corporation announced the successful commissioning of its 4,000 tons/year lithium battery additive, vinyl ethylene carbonate (VC) production facility, by its subsidiary, Shandong Huayu Tongfang Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. The facility, located in Jining City, Shandong Province, commenced operations and produced qualified products on December 22, 2025. This project contributes to the company's strategic focus on new energy battery materials.

The VC product is a critical additive for lithium-ion battery electrolytes, enhancing capacity and cycle life. The company anticipates a positive impact on its financial performance, aligning with its "Strategy 2.0" phase. Industry forecasts predict a significant increase in demand for power and energy storage batteries, with growth exceeding 30% for power and energy storage batteries combined and over 50% for energy storage batteries alone by 2026, driving demand for related battery materials.

Investors are advised that the new capacity will be gradually released, and market conditions may change, posing investment risks.
