Lakala Payment shareholder Legend Holdings unpledges significant block of shares

Lakala Payment Company Limited announced that its shareholder, Legend Holdings Corporation, has completed the release of a pledge on 30 million shares. This transaction, registered on December 19, 2025, from an initial pledge date of December 20, 2024, represents 16.17% of Legend Holdings' total shares and 3.86% of Lakala Payment's total share capital. The pledge was held by CITIC Securities Co., Ltd.

Following this release, Legend Holdings' total pledged shares have decreased from 61.74 million to 31.74 million shares. This revised figure now represents 17.11% of Legend Holdings' total holdings and 4.09% of Lakala Payment's total share capital. All of Legend Holdings' current pledged shares are unrestricted.

The announcement did not specify the reasons for the original pledge or its subsequent release. The company stated that any discrepancies in share proportions are due to rounding.
