Yueyang Xingchang subsidiary achieves key milestone in green materials production

Yueyang Xingchang Petrochemical Co. announced that its controlled subsidiary, Huizhou Litop New Materials Co., Ltd., has successfully completed trial production of its 100,000 tons/year raw material pre-treatment unit. This unit is part of a project designed to optimize raw material supply and product types for the 300,000 tons/year polyolefin new materials plant.

The successful trial production resulted in the output of polymerization-grade propylene. This will be used to produce green polypropylene (rPP) products through the polyolefin new materials unit, utilizing chemical recycling methods. This development is crucial for ensuring a stable raw material supply for the 300,000 tons/year polyolefin new materials unit.

The raw materials for the pre-treatment unit are sourced from plastic pyrolysis gas (LPCG) produced by Guangdong Dongyue Chemical Technology Co., Ltd.'s 200,000 tons/year mixed waste plastic resource utilization demonstration project. This integration establishes a green circular industrial chain linking "green pyrolysis gas - green propylene - green polymers," expected to generate positive economic and social benefits.
