Xi'an Triangle Defence delays key investment projects by a year

Xi'an Triangle Defence Co., Ltd. announced that it will extend the completion dates for its "Aero-Engine Blade Precision Forging Project" and "Aviation Digital Integration Center Project" to December 31, 2026. This decision, approved by the company's board of directors, is based on a prudent assessment of project implementation progress, without altering the project's main body, investment purpose, or scale. The original estimated completion date for both projects was December 31, 2025.

The "Aero-Engine Blade Precision Forging Project" had a committed investment of CNY 488.6856 million, with CNY 57.6710 million invested to date, representing an 11.80% usage. The "Aviation Digital Integration Center Project" had a committed investment of CNY 82.7310 million, with CNY 33.8575 million invested, representing a 40.92% usage. The delay in the aero-engine blade project is attributed to a change in implementation location and a scaled-back procurement of equipment to match market demand for this new product line.

For the "Aviation Digital Integration Center Project," the delay stems from a change in implementation method from self-built to leased premises, reducing land construction investment. Additionally, the company postponed the procurement of certain equipment due to the high technical difficulty of wing assembly, existing market saturation, and uncertainties in entering the domestic large aircraft supply chain. The company will continue to closely monitor market conditions and strengthen supervision to ensure timely completion of the projects as per the new schedule.
