Guangdong No.2 Hydropower expands clean energy portfolio with new projects

Guangdong No.2 Hydropower Engineering Group Co., Ltd. announced the full grid-connected operation of the Buljin County Electrochemical 200MW/800MWh independent energy storage power station. This project was invested and constructed by Guangdong Yue Hydropower Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Guangdong Hydropower No.2 Bureau Group Co., Ltd.

Additionally, the Yue Hydropower Bachu County 5MW distributed photovoltaic hydrogen production and storage integration (experimental demonstration) project, featuring 600Nm3/h hydrogen production and storage, has also commenced operation. The company anticipates these projects will positively contribute to its future operating performance.

Following these additions, the company's cumulative installed capacity for commissioned clean energy projects now totals 5084.52MW. This comprises 380.50MW of hydropower, 790.36MW of wind power, 3613.66MW of photovoltaic power, and 300MW of independent energy storage. The company also reports 600Nm3/h of hydrogen production and storage capacity.
