CGN Power unit 6 construction begins, utilizing Hualong One technology

China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN Power) announced that Ningde Unit 6, a project of its joint venture Fujian Ningde No. 2 Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., officially began full-scale construction on December 16, 2025. This milestone was marked by the first concrete pouring (FCD) for the main reactor building, signifying its entry into the civil construction phase.

Ningde Unit 6 will utilize Hualong One nuclear power technology, a sophisticated third-generation nuclear power design. The single unit is designed with a capacity of 1,210MW, contributing significantly to the region's energy supply once operational.

CGN Power advised investors to refer to announcements on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange website and other designated information disclosure media for company-related information, urging rational investment due to inherent risks.
