Qinghai Salt Lake Industry to appoint new non-independent director

Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd. announced on December 16, 2025, that its board of directors approved the nomination of Zou Hongying as a candidate for a non-independent director position for the company's ninth board of directors. The nomination was put forward by China Minmetals Corporation, a shareholder, and reviewed by the company's nomination committee. Her term will commence upon approval by shareholders and run until the end of the ninth board's tenure.

Zou Hongying, born in September 1964, is an economics graduate with a bachelor's degree and a senior accountant. Her extensive career includes leadership roles in finance and management, serving as chief accountant and deputy general manager at China Metallurgical Group Corporation, and as a director/supervisor at China Minmetals Corporation since December 2024. Upon her election, Zou Hongying will also fill a committee member role in the specialized committees under the company's board, previously held by Bu Yi.

The company affirmed it will not exceed the statutory limit for board members who are simultaneously senior management or employee representatives. Zou Hongying does not hold any shares in Qinghai Salt Lake Industry and meets all regulatory requirements for the appointment.
