Jiangsu Guoxin subsidiary commissions 1,000 MW power unit

Jiangsu Guoxin Corporation announced today that its controlling subsidiary, Jiangsu Guoxin Mazhou Power Generation Co., Ltd., has successfully commissioned a new 1,000 MW secondary reheat ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation unit. The unit completed 168 hours of full-load trial operation and officially began commercial operation on December 12, 2025.

The newly operational 1,000 MW unit incorporates advanced secondary reheat and ultra-supercritical technology, ensuring high energy utilization efficiency and achieving ultra-low emission standards. It also integrates a coal-fired unit molten salt energy storage system, designed to respond flexibly and efficiently to the regulatory demands of the new power system.

This project is expected to address electricity supply gaps in Jiangsu Province during the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" period and further optimize the regional power structure.
