Xinjiang Western Animal Husbandry gets $12.9m in government subsidies

Xinjiang Western Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. announced the receipt of RMB 2,000,000 in government subsidies on December 10, 2025. This amount represents 1.68% of the company's audited net profit attributable to shareholders for the year 2024.

Simultaneously, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Xinjiang Tianshan Yunmu Dairy Co., Ltd., also received government subsidies amounting to RMB 10,941,100 on the same date, accounting for 9.21% of the company's 2024 audited net profit attributable to shareholders.

In aggregate, the company and Tianshan Yunmu Dairy received a total of RMB 12,941,100 in government subsidies, which corresponds to 10.89% of the company's audited net profit attributable to shareholders for 2024. These subsidies are classified as income-related government grants in accordance with Accounting Standard No. 16 – Government Subsidies and are expected to be recognized in the "other income" ledger.

The company projects that these government subsidies will impact its 2025 net profit by RMB 2,000,000, with an additional RMB 10,941,100 impact on Tianshan Yunmu Dairy’s 2025 net profit. The final accounting treatment and the impact on the financial data of both the company and Tianshan Yunmu Dairy are subject to confirmation by the annual audit conducted by a certified public accounting firm.
