Jilin Chemical Fibre appoints Lin Gang as independent director

Jilin Chemical Fibre Co., Ltd. reviewed and approved the "Proposal on the Resignation and By-election of Independent Directors" at its eleventh board of directors' fourth meeting on November 21, 2025. This proposal was subsequently submitted to the fifth extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2025 for deliberation. Details of the board resolution were disclosed on November 22, 2025.

On December 8, 2025, the company's fifth extraordinary general meeting of shareholders approved the proposal, electing Mr. Lin Gang as an independent director for the eleventh session of the board. His term will run from the date of approval by the shareholders' meeting until the expiration of the eleventh session of the board.

Following Mr. Lin Gang's appointment, the number of directors also serving as senior management will not exceed one-half of the total number of directors on Jilin Chemical Fibre's board, in line with relevant regulations and the company's articles of association.
