Xinjiang Western Animal Husbandry to change auditor, propose new directors

Xinjiang Western Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. announced its decision to change its accounting firm for the 2025 financial year, appointing Huaxing Certified Public Accountants (Special General Partnership) to audit its financial reports and internal controls. This change follows an eight-year tenure with Sigma Certified Public Accountants and complies with regulations mandating rotation of audit firms. The proposed audit fee for 2025 is 79.80 million yuan, a decrease of 10.20 million yuan from the 90 million yuan paid in 2024. This change will be submitted to the shareholders' meeting for approval.

Concurrently, the company's board has nominated Mr. Zhang Zebo and Mr. Zhang Xiaoyi as new non-independent director candidates for the fourth board of directors. Mr. Zhang Zebo currently serves as the company's board secretary, while Mr. Zhang Xiaoyi is the head of the financial management department. Both appointments, along with the accounting firm change, will be subject to shareholder approval at the Fourth Interim Shareholders' Meeting of 2025, scheduled for December 17, 2025.

The board also approved revisions to several governance policies, including those related to external guarantees, provision of financial assistance, external investments, connected transactions, and fundraising management, which will also be presented to shareholders for approval.
