Changan automobile's 2025 sales surge, driven by new energy vehicles

Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. announced its production and sales figures for November 2025, revealing robust growth for the first eleven months of the year. Cumulative sales reached 2,658,199 vehicles, marking a 9.25% year-on-year increase. Production also saw a healthy rise, with 2,508,996 units produced year-to-date, an 8.70% increase. Overseas sales contributed 583,894 vehicles to the total.

The company's new energy vehicle segment demonstrated particularly strong performance. Year-to-date, new energy vehicle production surged by 59.89% to 987,311 units, while sales climbed by 54.66% to 994,891 units.

For the month of November alone, Changan Automobile sold 284,197 vehicles, up 2.49% from November 2024. Production for the month was 296,482 units, a slight increase of 0.23% over the previous year. The company's own brands also contributed positively, with year-to-date sales growing by 11.48% to 2,260,431 vehicles.
