CATL invests in new equity partnership, commits 50bn yuan

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) announced its participation as a limited partner in the Boyu Xinzhi Xinchang (Ningbo) Equity Investment Partnership, effective December 1, 2025. CATL will contribute 50,000 million yuan, holding a 12.497% stake in the fund, which has a total committed capital of 400,100 million yuan upon initial closing.

The fund, managed by Boyu Taoran (Shanghai) Equity Investment Management Co., Ltd. and with Boyu Tianzhu (Ningbo) Self-owned Capital Investment Co., Ltd. as its general partner, aims to invest in equity and equity-related assets within China. Its focus areas include technology, healthcare, consumer goods, and retail sectors, targeting both growth-stage and mature companies.

This investment, funded by CATL's own capital, is within the general manager's approval authority and does not require board or shareholder approval. It is expected to enhance investment channels, explore business cooperation opportunities, and generate reasonable returns, aligning with the company's development and shareholder interests.
