Tecon Biology appoints new general manager, veteran leader retires

Tecon Biology Co., Ltd. announced a leadership transition, with Mr. Cheng Hui resigning as general manager due to approaching statutory retirement age. His resignation became effective upon delivery to the board and will not impact the company's operations. Mr. Cheng will continue to serve as a director and a member of the strategic and investment committee until the end of the eighth board of directors' term. The company expressed gratitude for his contributions.

Concurrently, the board of directors approved the appointment of Mr. Xu Heng as the new general manager, effective from the board's approval date until the conclusion of the eighth board of directors' term. Mr. Xu, born in June 1974 with a postgraduate degree, has served as the company's deputy party secretary, director, and deputy general manager overseeing the food and aquaculture business unit. He also chairs Tecon Animal Husbandry Technology Co., Ltd. and serves as a director for Henan Tecon Hongzhan Animal Husbandry Technology Co., Ltd.

The resolution for Mr. Xu's appointment was passed unanimously by the board of directors with seven votes in favor, zero against, and zero abstentions, following a review by the nomination committee. Mr. Xu does not hold any company shares directly and has no related party connections with the company's controlling shareholder, actual controller, or other directors and senior management.
