Hisense Home Appliances invests 1.7 bn yuan in wealth products

Hisense Home Appliances Group Co., Ltd. announced that between March 6 and November 21, 2025, the company and its subsidiaries entered into multiple wealth management agreements to subscribe for Everbright Insurance wealth management products. The total subscription amount reached 1,738,000,000 yuan. This investment utilizes the group's idle funds, a strategy previously approved by the company's board of directors and the 2024 annual general meeting, aiming to enhance capital utilization efficiency and increase cash asset returns.

Each individual wealth management agreement does not constitute a discloseable transaction under Listing Rule 14.06. However, when aggregated, the total subscription amount for these Everbright Insurance wealth management products exceeds 5% but is below 25% of the applicable percentage ratios. Consequently, this aggregated transaction is classified as a discloseable transaction, necessitating reporting and announcement under the Listing Rules. The wealth management products are primarily fixed-income and low-to-medium risk, investing in liquid and fixed-income assets, with expected annualized returns benchmarked against one-year benchmark deposit rates.

The involved subsidiaries include Air-Conditioner Marketing Company, Hisense Mould Company, Kelon Mould Company, Kitchen and Bathroom Company, Refrigerator Marketing Company, and Ronshen Plastic Company, all acting as subscribers. Everbright Insurance Asset Management Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Everbright Property Insurance Co., Ltd., acts as the manager. Everbright Insurance Co., Ltd.'s largest shareholder is Huaneng Capital Services Co., Ltd., which holds 61.2245% of its shares. The company’s board of directors believes these transactions are on normal commercial terms, fair, reasonable, and in the overall interest of the company and its shareholders.
