CGN power's Zhaoyuan unit 1 begins full construction next November

CGN Power Co., Ltd. announced that its subsidiary, Shandong Zhaoyuan Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., will commence full-scale construction of its Zhaoyuan Unit 1 on November 18, 2025. This marks the beginning of the civil engineering phase, with the first concrete pouring (FCD) for the main reactor building scheduled for that date.

The Zhaoyuan Unit 1 will utilize Hualong One nuclear power technology, featuring a single unit installed capacity of 1,214MW. This development is a key step forward for the company's energy projects.
