Guolian Aquatic overhauls governance, elects new employee representative director

Zhanjiang Guolian Aquatic Products (SZSE:300094) has initiated a governance restructuring, abolishing its supervisory board and electing a new employee representative director. This reform, approved by the sixth board of directors on October 28, 2025, and subsequently by the 2025 third interim shareholders' meeting on November 14, 2025, saw the removal of existing supervisors. These former supervisors will continue in other roles within the company, not holding any company shares, with no unfulfilled commitments.

In conjunction with the supervisory board's dissolution, Liu Yuqing was elected as the new employee representative director at the employee representative meeting on November 14, 2025. Liu, born in 1980, holds a bachelor's degree from South China University of Technology. He previously served as director and assistant general manager of Meiyijia Convenience Store Co., Ltd.'s logistics department and currently serves as director of the company's warehousing logistics center, secretary of the party branch, and chairman of the labor union. The board composition remains unchanged, with the total number of directors who are also senior management or employee representatives not exceeding half of the total board members.

The 2025 third interim shareholders' meeting, held on November 14, 2025, approved nine proposals with strong majorities, including the amendment of the company's articles of association and various governance policies. Shareholders also approved the reappointment of the 2025 audit firm, showing broad support for the company's strategic direction.
