Three Squirrels' controlling shareholder extends share pledge

Three Squirrels Co., Ltd. (SZSE:300783) announced that its controlling shareholder and de facto controller, Zhang Liaoyuan, has extended the pledge of 12,000,000 shares. This transaction, representing 7.41% of his total holdings and 2.99% of the company's current total share capital, was handled by China CITIC Securities Co., Ltd. The original pledge, set to expire on November 20, 2025, has been extended to November 20, 2026, for pre-replacement period financing.

As of the announcement date, Zhang Liaoyuan and his concerted parties hold a total of 168,568,000 shares, representing 42.00% of the company's total share capital. Following this extension, the cumulative pledged shares remain at 12,000,000, accounting for 7.12% of their total holdings and 2.99% of the company's total share capital. The remaining unpledged shares for Zhang Liaoyuan amount to 121,404,000, representing 81.01% of his holdings.

The company stated that the overall pledge risk for the controlling shareholder is controllable, with no liquidation risk, and will not materially impact the company's operations or governance. Three Squirrels intends to optimize its financing structure and actively manage its pledge ratio, while continuously monitoring the situation and fulfilling disclosure obligations.
