TCL technology reports strong Q3 profit growth, display business shines

For the first three quarters of 2025, TCL Technology Group Corporation recorded 135.9 bn yuan in operating revenue, marking a 10.5% year-on-year increase. Net profit attributable to shareholders soared by 99.8% year-on-year to 3.05 bn yuan, with operating cash flow growing 53.8% year-on-year to 33.84 bn yuan. Net profit attributable to shareholders for the third quarter alone reached 1.16 bn yuan, representing a 33.6% quarter-on-quarter increase.

The display business, TCL CSOT, achieved cumulative operating revenue of 78.01 bn yuan, up 17.5% year-on-year, and a net profit of 6.1 bn yuan, an increase of 53.5% year-on-year. TCL CSOT's market share in the large-sized segment rose by 5 percentage points year-on-year to 25%. The silicon materials business reported shipments of 907 MSI and operating revenue of 4.24 bn yuan, a 28.7% year-on-year increase.

The new energy photovoltaic business saw sales revenue of 16.01 bn yuan, improving 22% quarter-on-quarter in Q3. Non-silicon costs in photovoltaic materials decreased by over 40% from the beginning of the year. Moka Technology, a non-core business, achieved 16.86 bn yuan in revenue, up 10% year-on-year, with TV ODM volume increasing 12% year-on-year and monitor ODM shipments rising 21% year-on-year.
