New Industries Biomedical appoints Shen Weihua as independent director

Shenzhen New Industries Biomedical Engineering Co., Ltd. announced the resignation of Ms. Zhang Min as an independent director and the subsequent appointment of Ms. Shen Weihua to the board. Ms. Zhang Min's resignation, effective October 24, 2025, was due to personal reasons and also included her stepping down from roles on the audit committee, remuneration and appraisal committee, and nomination committee.

Following the resignation, the company's board of directors, through its nomination committee, approved the nomination of Ms. Shen Weihua as the new independent director candidate. The appointment was further approved at the fifth meeting of the fifth session of the board of directors on October 28, 2025. Ms. Shen Weihua's qualifications, including holding an independent director qualification certificate and being a registered accountant, were approved by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

Ms. Shen Weihua's appointment was officially approved at the company's first extraordinary general meeting on November 13, 2025. She will also serve as the chairperson of the audit committee, a member of the remuneration and appraisal committee, and a member of the nomination committee for the remainder of the fifth session of the board of directors. Ms. Shen Weihua has previous experience as an independent director for the company from June 2020 to May 2022.
