Tecon Biology reports October live hog sales up despite price drop

Tecon Biology announced its live hog sales for October 2025 reached 303,500 heads, marking a 13.71% month-over-month increase and a 6.75% year-over-year growth. Sales revenue for the month stood at CNY 415 million, up 8.07% from the previous month but down 11.89% year-over-year. The average selling price for commercial hogs (excluding piglets and breeding hogs) in October 2025 was CNY 10.97 per kilogram, representing a 9.86% decrease from the previous month.

For the first ten months of 2025, Tecon Biology's cumulative live hog sales reached 2.5858 million heads, a 6.49% increase compared to the same period last year. Total cumulative sales revenue for this period was CNY 3.758 billion, a decline of 8.65% from the previous year.

The company cautioned investors that these figures pertain solely to live hog sales and do not reflect the performance of other business segments.
