Central Plains Environment Protection expands recycled water projects, revamps governance

Central Plains Environment Protection, through its holding company Henan Xinhong Guanggu New Energy Co., Ltd., will invest approximately 15.465 million yuan in the Road King International City recycled water energy supply project, using water source heat pump technology for heating services over 20 years. The company will also invest approximately 30 million yuan in the Zhengzhou High-tech City Cultural Comprehensive Center recycled water energy supply project (30-year service term), and 279.8682 million yuan across three segments for recycled water pipeline network projects in Zhengzhou. These initiatives aim to promote sustainable resource utilization and expand the company's market presence.

In a related development, Central Plains Environment Protection's Ninth Board of Directors and Ninth Board of Supervisors approved revisions to the Articles of Association and various internal management systems. These include establishing a "Management System for Departure of Directors and Senior Executives" and abolishing the "Investor Reception and Promotion Work System." The board also approved adjusting the company's governance structure, transferring the Audit Committee's functions to the Board of Supervisors, and renaming the Board's Strategic Committee to the "Strategic and Sustainable Development Committee." These changes will be submitted for shareholder approval at the Second Interim Shareholders' Meeting in 2025.
