Weichai Power to establish battery, fuel cell production line with Ceres Power

Weichai Power Co., Ltd. announced on November 5, 2025, the signing of a manufacturing license agreement with its associate company, Ceres Power Holdings plc. This agreement outlines Weichai Power's plan to establish a production line for batteries and fuel cell stacks specifically designed for the stationary power generation market.

Under the terms of the agreement, Ceres Power Holdings plc will supply key components for the production line. The products manufactured by Weichai Power are intended to provide electricity to various applications, including AI data centers, commercial buildings, and industrial parks.

Weichai Power stated that the signing of this license agreement and the transactions stemming from it constitute normal business operations. The company also noted that these activities do not meet the disclosure standards mandated by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Stock Listing Rules, and urged investors to be aware of potential investment risks. The announcement was made by the board of directors of Weichai Power Co., Ltd. on November 6, 2025.
