Wens Foodstuff reports mixed October sales for chicken and hogs

Wens Foodstuff Group announced its October 2025 sales, reporting total meat chicken sales of 128.3345 million units (including live chickens, fresh products, and cooked food), generating revenue of 3.633 billion yuan. The average selling price for live chickens was 13.33 yuan/kg.

Compared to the previous month, sales volume, revenue, and average price saw sequential changes of 4.66%, 4.91%, and -1.48% respectively. Year-on-year changes were 8.01%, 9.96%, and 0.00%. Additionally, the company sold 15.3874 million white feather chicks in October 2025, bringing the year-to-date total to 138.5112 million.

In its hog product segment, Wens Foodstuff sold 3.8928 million hogs in October 2025 (including 3.4483 million live hogs and fresh products, and 444,500 piglets), achieving revenue of 5.048 billion yuan. The average selling price for live hogs was 11.57 yuan/kg. Sequentially, sales volume, revenue, and average price experienced changes of 17.07%, 1.47%, and -12.22%. Year-on-year, these figures changed by 45.69%, -13.15%, and -34.41%, respectively.

The company attributed the increase in hog sales volume to increased early-stage piglet placements and external piglet sales, while the decrease in average selling price was due to market conditions.

The company cautioned that the disclosed financial data is unaudited and may differ from its periodic reports, serving as interim financial information for investors. Wens Foodstuff also highlighted ongoing risks from animal epidemics, significant price fluctuations in livestock and poultry products, and changes in the company's breeding schedule, which may lead to monthly fluctuations in sales volume and revenue.
