Chow Tai Seng Jewellery bank funds unfrozen after legal dispute

Chow Tai Seng Jewellery Co., Ltd. announced that its bank accounts, previously frozen due to a contractual dispute with Shenzhen Shuibei Card Information Technology Co., Ltd., have been unfrozen. The company had initially disclosed the freezing of these accounts on December 28, 2023.

The Guangdong Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court made a final judgment in the case. Subsequently, the company received a civil ruling from the Luohu District People's Court of Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, ordering the release of 70,248,979.23 yuan from its bank accounts.

The company stated that the freezing of funds did not materially impact its main operations. All affected bank account funds have now returned to normal use, as confirmed by an announcement dated November 6, 2025.
