Shenzhen Airport to revise articles of association for corporate governance updates

Shenzhen Airport announced its intention to revise its articles of association and accompanying rules, including the "Rules of Procedure for the Shareholders' Meeting" and "Rules of Procedure for the Board of Directors." These revisions, approved at the Eighth Board of Directors’ Fifteenth Interim Meeting and the Eighth Board of Supervisors’ Tenth Interim Meeting on November 4, 2025, aim to enhance corporate governance in accordance with the "Company Law (2023 Revision)" and "Guidelines for Articles of Association of Listed Companies (2025 Revision)."

The proposed changes will be submitted for approval at the Second Interim Shareholders' Meeting of 2025, scheduled for November 21, 2025. This meeting will be held via a combination of on-site and online voting, accommodating shareholders registered by the equity registration date of November 14, 2025. The revisions aim to streamline operations, bolster internal oversight, and ensure legal compliance.
