Zotye Automobile elects new board, appoints interim CEO and CFO

Zotye Automobile Co., Ltd. held its first extraordinary general meeting of shareholders for 2025 on October 29, 2025. Shareholders approved the election of the ninth board of directors, comprising six non-independent directors: LEEI JIAN, Li Lizhong, Lin Longhua, Xu Mingzhe, Wang Yi’an, and Wu Donglin. Additionally, three independent directors were elected: Wang Yanming, Cui Xiaozhong, and Ma Yanhong.

Following the shareholder meeting, the ninth board of directors convened its first meeting on October 29, 2025. Li Lizhong was elected chairman of the board. The board also appointed the members of its specialized committees, including the Strategy Committee, Audit Committee, Nomination Committee, and Remuneration and Assessment Committee.

In further leadership changes, the board approved the appointment of Wang Yi'an as vice president, who will also serve as interim chief executive officer and board secretary. Yan Minxia was appointed as chief financial officer. Former vice president and board secretary Xie Lihong and former vice president Huang Bangde will no longer hold their respective positions.
