Jiangling Motors sees SUV surge in October, pickup sales plummet

Jiangling Motors Co., Ltd. announced its October 2025 production and sales figures, revealing a 5.81% year-on-year increase in total production to 33,669 units. Total sales also saw an 8.06% rise, reaching 33,246 units. Year-to-date, total production is up 7.64% to 296,814 units, while total sales grew 7.77% to 294,203 units.

Breaking down the figures, SUV production surged by 40.59% year-on-year to 13,467 units, with sales for the segment also jumping 30.65% to 13,201 units. Light passenger vehicle production increased by 2.70% to 9,356 units, and truck production rose 13.13% to 7,073 units. Year-to-date, SUV production is up 11.19%, and sales are up 10.72%.

Conversely, pickup truck production experienced a substantial decline of 45.14% in October, totaling 3,773 units. Sales of pickup trucks also plummeted by 41.38% to 3,980 units. Year-to-date, pickup production and sales are down 18.65% and 18.74%, respectively.
