Hubei Energy to host Q3 briefing, October generation up 19%

Hubei Energy Group Co., Ltd. (SZSE:000883) will hold its 2025 third-quarter earnings briefing on November 7, 2025, from 15:00 to 16:00 (Beijing time). The online event will be accessible via Xiaoyu Yilian, allowing investors to engage with the company’s management, including the chief accountant, board secretary, and other key department heads. The company also released its October 2025 power generation data, reporting a total of 3.534 bn kWh, a 19.27% increase year-on-year. This growth was primarily driven by hydropower generation, which surged by 803.77% to 1.916 bn kWh. However, thermal power generation decreased by 47.49% to 1.129 bn kWh, and new energy generation fell by 18.67% to 488 m kWh.

For the year-to-date, Hubei Energy’s cumulative power generation reached 36.488 bn kWh, a slight decrease of 0.79% compared to the previous year. Hydropower generation saw a 3.50% decrease, while thermal power generation declined by 7.40%. In contrast, new energy generation increased by 29.54% year-on-year, contributing significantly to the company's overall energy mix.
