Changan Automobile sees robust production and sales growth in October

In October 2025, Changan Automobile produced 285,380 vehicles, a 17.86% increase compared to the same period last year. Year-to-date, total production reached 2,212,514 units, up 9.95% from the previous year. Sales also saw strong performance, with 278,436 vehicles sold in October, an 11.00% rise year-over-year. For the first ten months of 2025, total sales hit 2,374,002 vehicles, a 10.12% increase from the prior year, including 522,660 vehicles sold overseas.

The company's independent brands demonstrated impressive growth in October, with production climbing 21.50% to 245,948 units and sales rising 11.30% to 236,888 units compared to last year. Year-to-date, independent brand production totaled 1,854,908 units (up 12.21%) and sales reached 2,016,793 units (up 12.21%).

New energy vehicles were a particularly strong segment, with October production soaring 57.36% to 133,722 units and sales increasing 36.14% to 119,167 units year-over-year. Cumulatively, new energy vehicle production for the year reached 849,380 units (up 66.34%) and sales were 868,724 units (up 60.58%).
