Zotye Automobile appoints new senior management, board chairman

Zotye Automobile Co., Ltd. held its ninth board meeting on October 29, 2025, to approve key leadership changes. The board unanimously appointed Wang Yi'an as vice president, who will also temporarily assume the responsibilities of chief executive and board secretary. Concurrently, Yan Minxia has been appointed as the company’s chief financial officer. Both appointments are effective for the duration of the ninth board term. The company will expedite the formal appointment of a new chief executive and board secretary.

Wang Yi'an, born in August 1989, holds a master's degree from Northeast Forestry University and has a background in automotive R&D and management, including roles at GAC R&D Center and Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. Yan Minxia, born in November 1982, holds a master's degree from Henley Business School, University of Reading, and is an ACCA member with extensive experience in financial management. Both have no prior holdings in the company.

In other decisions, Li Lizhong was elected as the chairman of the ninth board of directors. The board also established its specialized committees, including the Strategy Committee, Audit Committee, Nomination Committee, and Remuneration and Assessment Committee, with members drawn from the board.
