Hesteel reports strong profit growth in Q3 2025

Hesteel Company Limited announced its third-quarter 2025 results, with revenue reaching 30.23 bn yuan for the quarter and 96.54 bn yuan year-to-date, marking an 8.05% increase compared to the previous year. The company's net profit attributable to shareholders surged by 44.61% to 224.90 m yuan for the quarter and 44.71% to 822.97 m yuan year-to-date, primarily driven by increased production and enhanced profitability.

Operating cash flow also saw a positive trend, with net cash generated from operating activities totaling 8.69 bn yuan, a 10.45% increase from the prior year. Basic and diluted earnings per share for the nine-month period rose by 79.06% to 0.0650 yuan. The weighted average return on net assets improved to 1.30%, up by 0.57% year-on-year.

As of the end of the reporting period, total assets stood at 271.74 bn yuan, a 0.98% increase, while owners' equity attributable to shareholders increased by 1.51% to 59.11 bn yuan. The company also reported an increase in accounts receivable due to a reduction in bill discounting.
