Huapont Life Sciences associate pledges significant share block

Huapont Life Sciences Co., Ltd. announced that Mr. Zhang Yizhuo, an associate acting in concert with the controlling shareholder, has pledged 22,080,000 shares. This represents 40.10% of his holdings and 1.12% of the company's total share capital. Bohai International Trust Co., Ltd. is the pledgee for this transaction, effective October 24, 2025.

As of the announcement date, Mr. Zhang Yizhuo and his associates, including Chongqing Huibang Zhuoyuan Technology Co., Ltd., Mr. Zhang Songshan, and Ms. Zhao Danlin, have a combined 291,070,000 shares pledged. This totals 53.60% of their combined holdings and 14.70% of the company's total share capital.

Shares totaling RMB 110,080,000 are due to mature within the next six months (by April 26, 2026), corresponding to a financing balance of RMB 21,350 million. Additionally, a total of 291,070,000 pledged shares will mature within one year (by October 26, 2026), corresponding to a financing balance of RMB 57,545 million. The company states that the pledging parties have the ability to repay the funds, which will come from their own or self-raised sources.
