New Industries Biomedical secures patent for enhanced diagnostic method

Shenzhen New Industries Biomedical Engineering Co., Ltd. recently announced the receipt of an invention patent certificate from the National Intellectual Property Administration. The patent, titled "Small Molecule Detection Method and Reagent Kit to Eliminate Detection Differences in Serum and Plasma Samples," has the Chinese patent number ZL202311860257.X. The patent was applied for on December 31, 2023, and granted on October 17, 2025.

This self-developed technology is designed for small molecule sandwich detection platforms. It utilizes a sample diluent containing specific metal chelates, surfactants, and buffers to effectively ensure consistency between serum and plasma sample detection results, thereby significantly improving detection accuracy.

While the company stated that this new patent will not have a significant impact on its current operating performance, it is expected to enhance its intellectual property system and bolster its overall soft power. This announcement was made by the board of directors on October 22, 2025.
