Jones Tech (Thailand) secures major EPC contract for new factory

Jones Tech (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has finalized an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) general contracting agreement for its factory construction project in Thailand. The contract, valued at THB 972,416,000.00, was awarded to a consortium of China Construction Engineering (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Shiyuan Technology Engineering Co., Ltd. The project aims to establish an overseas production base for graphite film, thermal interface materials, and shielding products, primarily to supply the company's international clientele.

The new facility will be located in the WHA Eastern Seaboard 1 Industrial Estate in Rayong Province, Thailand. It encompasses two factory buildings, one ancillary functional building, and dedicated warehouses for hazardous chemicals, hazardous waste, and general solid waste, covering a total construction area of approximately 50,000 square meters. The overall investment for the precision manufacturing project is RMB 73,654.26 million, with RMB 30,000.00 million funded through raised capital.

This strategic investment is expected to alleviate domestic production capacity pressure, meet growing market demand, and enhance the company's overseas sales and service capabilities. The company anticipates the project will bolster its internationalization strategy, improve profitability, and strengthen its long-term sustainable development, without adversely affecting its financial position or operational independence.
