Aier Eye Hospital's controlling shareholder pledges more shares

Aier Medical Investment Group Co., Ltd., the controlling shareholder of Aier Eye Hospital Group, has pledged 145,000,000 shares of the company's stock. This transaction represents 4.53% of its total shareholding and 1.55% of the company's total share capital. The pledge, initiated on October 16, 2025, is set to mature on September 29, 2028, and serves as a guarantee with China CITIC Bank.

Following this latest transaction, the controlling shareholder's total pledged shares amount to 720,735,194, representing 22.51% of its total holdings. Concurrently, Chen Bang, a major shareholder, has 212,068,746 shares pledged, accounting for 14.69% of his holdings. In aggregate, 932,803,940 shares are pledged by the major shareholders and their concerted parties, which constitutes 20.08% of their total holdings and 10.00% of the company's total share capital.

The company has affirmed that as of the announcement date, there is no risk of forced liquidation or closure regarding the pledged shares, and the transaction is not expected to materially impact the company's operations or governance. Aier Eye Hospital Group will continue to monitor the pledge's status and related risks, fulfilling its information disclosure obligations.
