Guangdong Yuehai Feeds deregisters aquaculture unit, updates business scope

Guangdong Yuehai Feeds Group Co., Ltd. (SZSE:001313) has decided to deregister its wholly-owned subsidiary, Guangdong Yuehai Jieshi Aquaculture Company Limited, according to an October 16, 2025 announcement. This decision follows the failure to implement a strategic cooperation with the Lufeng Municipal People's Government and local state-owned enterprises, leading the parent company to consolidate internal resources and streamline management. Guangdong Yuehai Jieshi Aquaculture Company Limited, established in October 2023 with a registered capital of RMB500,000, had not commenced actual operations and its deregistration is not expected to materially impact the company's overall business or profitability.

Concurrently, Guangdong Yuehai Feeds completed industrial and commercial registration changes, as detailed in an October 16, 2025 announcement. This follows resolutions passed by the board of directors on August 28, 2025, and the second extraordinary general meeting on September 15, 2025, to adjust the company's business scope and amend its articles of association.

The updated business scope now includes general items such as sales of livestock and aquatic feeds, feed raw materials, feed additives, fertilizer sales, goods import/export, fishing machinery sales, land use rights leasing, wholesale of aquatic products, and agricultural professional and auxiliary activities. Permitted activities now encompass feed production, veterinary drug operations, and aquaculture. These changes aim to reflect the company's current strategic direction and operational focus.
