Zhongtong Bus reports strong September production and sales growth

Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd. (SZSE:000957) announced robust production and sales figures for September 2025. Production volume for the month reached 1,086 units, a substantial 34.57% increase compared to 807 units in the same period last year. Year-to-date production also saw a positive trend, totaling 9,258 units, up 3.87% from 8,913 units year-on-year. Notably, large vehicles led the production growth for the month, rising by 16.83% to 604 units.

Sales performance mirrored production growth, with a total of 1,106 units sold in September, representing a 36.88% increase from 808 units in September 2024. Year-to-date sales climbed to 9,010 units, a 5.49% rise from 8,541 units in the prior year. The large vehicle segment was a significant driver of sales, with 662 units sold, marking a strong 53.60% increase from the previous year.

However, the light vehicle and logistics vehicle segment experienced a decline in year-to-date sales, dropping by 23.44% to 565 units compared to 738 units in the previous year. The company emphasized that these figures are preliminary and final data will be subject to its periodic reports. Investors are cautioned against directly inferring company performance from these production and sales figures.
