Zangge subsidiary approved to resume lithium resource activities

Zangge Mining Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zangge Potash Fertilizer Co., Ltd., has received approval from the Haixi Prefecture Natural Resources Bureau and Haixi Prefecture Salt Lake Administration to resume lithium resource development and utilization activities. This follows the temporary suspension of activities by another subsidiary, Zangge Lithium Industry Co., Ltd., which had been ordered to cease operations on July 16, 2025.

Under the new approval, Zangge Lithium Industry is set to formally restart operations on October 11, 2025. This resumption is contingent on Zangge Potash Fertilizer having obtained the Real Estate Title Certificate and Mining Permit for the lithium mining species by September 30, 2025.

Zangge Lithium Industry had aimed for 2025 carbonated lithium production of 11,000 tons and sales of 11,000 tons. The temporary shutdown lasted 87 days, and while the company will adjust its annual production and sales plan, the impact on its 2025 operating performance is anticipated to be minimal.
