Jidong Cement board reshuffle: new director proposed, current director resigns

Tangshan Jidong Cement Group Co., Ltd. announced resolutions from its tenth board of directors' twentieth meeting, held on October 11, 2025. The board approved the nomination of Ge Dong as a non-independent director candidate for the tenth board, with his term aligning with the current board. This nomination awaits approval at the upcoming shareholders' meeting.

The 2025 fourth extraordinary general meeting is scheduled for October 28, 2025, with the record date set for October 22, 2025. Shareholders will vote on the proposed election of Ge Dong as a non-independent director. Ge Dong, born in February 1972, holds a doctorate in engineering and is a senior engineer with extensive experience in the cement industry, having held various management positions within Jidong Cement and its related entities since 1993.

Concurrently, Ren Jinqian resigned from his position as a director and member of the nomination committee due to work adjustments, effective October 13, 2025. He will continue to serve as deputy general manager and board secretary. Ren Jinqian does not hold any shares in the company.
