SPIC Dongfang New Energy proposes mid-2025 cash dividend

SPIC Dongfang New Energy Corp. announced a preliminary profit distribution plan for mid-2025, proposing a cash dividend of 1.1 yuan (including tax) per 10 shares based on a total share capital of 5,383,418,520 shares. This will result in a total cash dividend of 592,176,037.20 yuan. The plan does not include bonus shares or capitalization of reserves. The proposal, approved by the board and supervisory board, awaits shareholder approval at the upcoming 2025 fourth interim shareholders' meeting.

For the first half of 2025, the company reported a net profit attributable to shareholders of 458,876,424.91 yuan. As of June 30, 2025, the accumulated undistributed profit in the consolidated financial statements was 7,636,430,157.55 yuan, while the parent company’s accumulated undistributed profit was 1,333,768,484.83 yuan. The distribution plan is based on the lower of the two undistributed profit figures.

The board and supervisory board affirmed that the proposed distribution aligns with the company’s articles of association, strategic plans, and future development needs, considering operational status, future capital requirements, and investor returns. The audit and risk management committee also supported the proposal, noting its compliance and benefit to all shareholders.
