Advanced Fiber Resources to hold EGM for governance changes, board appointments

Advanced Fiber Resources (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. announced its first extraordinary general meeting of shareholders for 2025 (2025 EGM) to be held on October 27, 2025. The meeting, which combines on-site and online voting, will address several key proposals, including revisions to the company's articles of association and other governance policies. These revisions include the proposed abolition of the Supervisory Board, with its functions to be assumed by the board of directors' audit committee.

The board of directors’ 18th meeting, held on October 10, 2025, approved these proposals, which also include changes to various internal management systems such as the "independent director work system" and "investor relations management system." Shareholders will also vote on the election of Mr. Qu Zhichao and Mr. Liu Jiajie as non-independent directors, with Mr. Qu Zhichao also proposed as the company's legal representative. Mr. Chen Hongliang and Ms. Luo Bin have resigned from their non-independent director positions.

The 2025 EGM will allow shareholders to vote on these important changes through both a physical meeting and online via the Shenzhen Stock Exchange systems. The equity registration date for attendance is October 20, 2025.
