BYD reports strong September 2025 NEV production and sales growth

BYD Co. Ltd. reported total NEV production of 405,554 units in September 2025, contributing to a year-to-date total of 3,213,569 units, a 16.40% increase from the previous year. NEV sales reached 396,270 units in September 2025, bringing year-to-date sales to 3,260,146 units, an 18.64% increase year-over-year. Exports of NEVs totaled 71,256 units for the month.

The company's installed capacity for power and energy storage batteries in September 2025 was approximately 23.200 GWh, with a cumulative installed capacity of 203.251 GWh for the year.

The statutory/registered share capital remained unchanged for both H-shares and A-shares, at RMB 3,683,400,000 and RMB 5,433,797,565, respectively. The total statutory/registered share capital as of the end of the month is RMB 9,117,197,565. The number of issued H-shares and A-shares also remained constant at 3,683,400,000 and 5,433,797,565, respectively.
