Changan automobile posts strong september production and sales growth

Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. reported its preliminary production and sales data for September 2025 and the first nine months of the year. For the period of January to September 2025, total vehicle sales reached 2,066,075 units, including 465,305 units sold overseas.

In September 2025, the company's total production was 279,717 units, a 30.50% increase compared to the same period last year, while sales hit 266,315 units, up 24.92% year-on-year. Year-to-date production accumulated to 1,898,279 units, marking a 7.24% rise, and year-to-date sales reached 2,066,075 units, an 8.46% increase from the previous year.

Notably, new energy vehicle production surged by 87.15% in September to 109,383 units, with sales growing 87.03% to 103,582 units. Year-to-date, new energy vehicle production and sales increased by 62.32% and 59.72% respectively. The total cumulative sales revenue across all segments corresponds to approximately 1,997 yuan.
